Welcome to the Springvale Benevolent Society

The Springvale Benevolent Society was founded in 1962 when council wrote to all the churches in Springvale and asked them to send a representative to discuss the formation of a Benevolent Society. Today the Springvale Benevolent Society is a non-denominational organization that provides aid to over 1000 families each year.

Who we help

Springvale Benevolent Society provides material aid relief and helps connects those in need to the local network of support agencies. We aim to provide assistance to all those going through difficult times, whether this may be people experiencing homelessness, families and individuals who are struggling financially or who may be experiencing domestic violence.

Where we help

We come to you! Within our service area our volunteer agents conduct home visits or if you are experiencing homelessness we can provide assistance at your current location.

We operate within the Springvale area which includes but is not limited to Springvale, Springvale South, Noble Park and Clayton South, if you are unsure please reach out to us.

When we help

Within 24 – 48 hrs, 80% of cases receive assistance within 24 hours of contact, please contact us via our contact form or alternatively if you are unable to access this please leave us a message on (03) 9546 5558.
